Has your life changed as a result of having Cauda Equina Syndrome? Would you like to improve your overall well-being? Have you had some psychology or counselling sessions in the past? Was your CES injury over 6 months ago?
Would you like the opportunity to:
- continue to have some support around the impact of CES on you, your life and your relationships
- join with others who are also trying to work on their psychological well-being and adjustment?
If so, our online Psychology Support group could be helpful for you. The CES Champions Charity are offering a new opportunity to continue your journey to well-being with a supportive group of people who also live with CES.
Each session will be hosted by two Clinical Psychologists who have years of experience working with people with physical health problems - Dr Joanne McVey and Dr Lesley Glover.
Please note - these sessions are for people living with CES who have previously had some form of counselling/therapy AND have had CES for over 6 months. If you have never had any type of therapy or have had CES for less than 6 months, we recommend that you have 1-2-1 therapy before attending these group sessions. We can fund the 1-2-1 therapy sessions for you, please email paige@championscharity.org.uk
To keep the event personal and to give everyone chance to speak, this event has a limit of 11 people. Please only reserve ONE ticket for yourself. Please only reserve a ticket if you can definitely attend on the proposed date and time.
