Event description

Description

CFCFE logo

The Centre for Community Finance Europe welcomes its members and guests from Britain and Ireland to kick off 2020 with more learning, discussion and networking in Manchester.

Our theme is Serving the Needs of Members Today and Tomorrow.

We will look at technology and other critical operational and business issues in relation to how credit unions can better support their members. This will include a session on leadership with the inspirational Drew Povey (seen on British TV in Educating Greater Manchester), as well as discussion of the opportunities (and threats) to credit unions from open banking, and approaches to core technology ecosystems.

Coffee and registration will be available from 9am, and proceedings will start at 10.00am. We will finish the formal agenda by 3.30pm, but we hope as many attendees as possible will be able to stay for networking and conversation afterwards. A full programme will be available shortly.

CFCFE's membership is a diverse range of progressive credit unions from Great Britain and Ireland and some of their suppliers, and conference guests will include credit union regulators.

We look forward to seeing you.
