It is time to take a break, turn off your computer and come hang out with CGD'ers and other like-minded people.
Whether you work or are interested in working in a developing country or for an international organisation come and share your development stories. No agenda, no formality - just a bunch of (young and not-so-young) professionals who are trying to make the world a better place and who also sometimes need a trip to the pub.
Come join us - Owen Barder, Clare Waite, Rita Perakis, Alice Lépissier, Jenny Kendra and Elina Sarkisova - at The Giant Robot from 6pm on Tuesday 19 February (you can buy food and drinks at the bar). Friends, colleagues and significant others are all welcome.
When & Where
Center for Global Development in Europe
CGD conducts research and analysis on a wide range of topics related to how policies and actions of the rich and powerful affect poor people in the developing world. Examples include aid effectiveness, climate change, education, globalization, health, migration and trade. Drawing on our research, we actively engage with thought leaders, policymakers, and others to move our ideas to action.
