Chair yoga is for anyone with restricted mobility who may have been put off yoga in the past. There will be no getting up and down off the floor, no kneeling and no lying down. We will start and the session on the chair and build up strength with some standing poses and functional movements, using the chair to assist with balance. We use an additional prop called a resistance band which helps to build strength safely. All exercises are functional movement based with the aim to assist you in everyday life.
