About this event
It can be hard to keep up with our workout habits when we’ve got lots to do at work or at home. This workshop is here to help! Join us as we learn about Desk Yoga: a series of movements and stretches that you can do at your desk. You’ll also learn about other stress-busting practices to add to your toolkit. If you have physical health concerns, please check with your doctor before joining us.
Facilitator Biography
• Katy first discovered yoga when she was a stay home mum with a small baby. This simple hobby soon became a way of life, largely as she discovered the profound impact that her practice had on her physical health, dissolving health issues which she had previously assumed were lifelong conditions. Since then, she has completed a number of teacher trainings including a 300-hour advanced vinyasa programme, yin teacher training and a yoga for children certification.
• For Katy, yoga is not about being flexible or looking good, it is about building strength, inside and out, exploring the potential of your body and, more importantly, your mind, so you can the best version ofyourself, every day.
