Meet us on site at 10.00am - we will meet at the vehicle gate on Chairborough Road/McLellan Place. The nearest postcode is: HP12 3UL. Free parking is available on the surrounding roads, please park considerately.

The Task:
Help us look after the chalk grassland with a day of raking and litter picking, suitable for all so bring your family and friends!!
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!
10.15: Work begins
11.30: Tea & coffee break
13.00: Lunch Break - please bring your own
15.30: Work finishes, time to go home!
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
Access: Sands Bank is on a steep slope and may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.
Please note:
Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.
Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
