Chalfest - Party on the Hill

A one day family festival featuring three music stages, three bars and loads of entertainment for kids. Headline acts include Dick & Dom as well as Fun Lovin' Criminals
The purpose of Chalfest is to support the local schools and community groups in and around Chalford Hill.

What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes entrance to the Festival for the day and includes all music entertainment. There will be free entertainment such as circus skills as well as paid-for activities. All funds raised go to local community groups.
Free Community Tickets
To prevent the free community tickets from being sold on, you will be required to show photo id at the entry gate to ensure the name and address match those on our ticket database.

Do my childen need a ticket?
Children aged 7-16 need a junior ticket. Under 7's go free.
How do I get my free community ticket?
If you have a child at a local school or are a member of a local community group, please contact them for your access code. Otherwise please contact Chalfest directly.
How do I use my access code for my free ticket.
Click on the green 'tickets' button above on the right to show the ticket page. On the pop-up window you will now see a link sayong 'enter promotional code'. Click this and enter your code to reveal your hidden, free community ticket.
You will be allowed to leave and re-enter the festival as long as you have a valid wristband.
There are no refunds, credits or exchanges on all tickets unless the event has been cancelled or postponed.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Unless you require certain food or drinks for medical reasons, no food or drink from outside is allowed on-site. Bag searches are carried out at the entrance.
Can I bring my dog?
No. Given the number of visitors and activities that are taking place we’re afraid Chalfestneeds to be a dog free zone. Guide dogs are of course welcome.
Is there camping on site?
There is no camping on site.
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
There will be wheelchair access as well as viewing platform for the stage, however Chalfest takes place in a grass field so movement around the site will be limited
There is no parking available on-site but if you are travelling from outside the Chalford Hill area there will be a limited number of park & ride spots available to pre-book. Please order these alongside your ticket
There are a number of local B&B’s and guesthouses in the area.
Prohibited items & Bag checks
For festival attendees welfare and safety, illegal substances will not be allowed on-site, this includes nitrous oxide gas. Those caught in possession of, or dealing in illegal substances will be processed in accordance with the law.
We do not permit any of the following items anywhere on site: portable laser equipment and pens, spray cans, fireworks and flares, Chinese lanterns, animals, alcohol or anything that we consider could be used as a weapon.
It is a condition of entry that you agree to be searched when you enter the site and whenever you enter the performance arena. If you are found to be carrying prohibited items then we may confiscate them or remove you from the festival.
Conditions of entry
As a condition of entry you irrevocably consent to being photographed, filmed or sound recorded for TV, Video, DVD, Webcast or other marketing or public broadcast as part of the audience or by security CCTV.
