Chalk Scribblers meet the agent: Hannah Schofield

Hannah Schofield has been a literary agent at LBA Books since 2018, before which she worked in translation rights and as a literary scout.

She represents a range of commercial fiction genres including:

· Book club

· Romantic comedy

· Historical

· Thriller

· Mystery

· Young adult

She also represents selected non-fiction including:

· Popular history

· Niche areas of culture

· True crime, preferably without murders

In addition to the usual talk and general Q&A, Hannah has agreed to comment on some verbal pitches. If you’d like to give one, please aim to speak for around 2 minutes with an absolute maximum of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

The cover charge for this event will go toward the Chalk Scribblers overheads and not to either the event hosts or the speaker. For that reason, we can only offer a refund if the event is cancelled.
