Challenge 2016: National Workshops
Date and time
Description
How can we better manage underground assets in Britain?
We're running a national tour of workshops to introduce you to the principles helpful to accelerating your idea proposition in response to this year's Geovation Challenge. At the workshops we’ll help you understand the problem areas of this challenge and we will introduce you to the power of geographical thinking, geospatial data, as well as important principles of lean business and service design. These tools will help elevate your business idea, and will inform the submission requirements of your prototype venture in preparation for the Geovation Camp and beyond.
We will be online streaming some aspects of the workshop, and providing online resources, which reflect some of the material covered. Please note, however, that full benefits are only gained if you attend a workshop in person. Register for a ticket now if you would like to gain access to these online resources.
Whether you take part in our Challenge or not, these workshops provide valuable insight into the essentials of starting your own business and developing location-based ideas. They also offer the opportunity for team match making - allowing you to collaborate with others and even complement your skillset needs in order to excel in your business idea.
