Challenge Based Learning
Join us on 27 November at Mossley Mill for a great day of introduction to ‘Challenge Based Learning’ (CBL). With a true cross curricular focus, we'll explore how CBL is relevant and meaningful to both teachers and pupils, bringing an engaging approach to building 21st century skills. Together, we'll ‘think different’ and provide a framework and mindset necessary to bring about CBL in the context of everyday school life and the current curriculum.
On the day, we'll explore both the teacher's and learner's experience, beginning with setting out a challenge, developing guiding questions then producing a research plan and timeline. The day will be immersive and fully interactive for all participants who'll gain their knowledge by ‘doing’, and will gain an approach that can be taken right back to school.
Gain a deeper insight into CBL and its potential for schools.
Experience CBL from both a teacher’s and learner’s perspective.
Understand how to setup and manage CBL in your own school.
The day is aimed at senior leaders, department heads and subject teachers wishing to bring about real change in their classroom practice, inspire learners and equip pupils with real world skills.
