Event description

Description

General Sir Adrian Bradshaw is particularly well qualified to speak on the critical security issues that we hear about on an almost daily basis. Highly experienced in the art of soldiering, whether it be combat operations in general warfighting or the more strategic use of special forces, Sir Adrian’s insight and deep understanding of the subject will be both stimulating and thought provoking.

Following his appointment as Director Special Forces, Sir Adrian took command of 1st (UK) Armoured Division in 2009 at a time when his brigades were heavily engaged in Afghanistan. In 2011 he went on to become the Deputy Commander of the 140,000 strong NATO-led force in Afghanistan, and Commander UK Land Forces in 2013. From 2014-2017 he served as NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe. He now provides strategic advice to overseas countries, lectures widely on Defence strategy and has recently been appointed Governor, Royal Hospital Chelsea.

HorsePower Museum is delighted to welcome Sir Adrian to speak on this highly topical subject after which he will be pleased to take your questions. We look forward to seeing you there.
