Challenging Negative Thinking! Is it really possible to change how we think?
About this event
How can we hold on to hope in the midst of all that has happened since the beginning of last year?
Dr Maria Kee is a former consultant Psychiatrist and Cognitive Behaviour Therapist who specialised in treating Trauma. After over twenty years in the NHS she left the NHS to focus on studying and delivering training in the field of positive psychology. During lockdown Maria delved in to the world of neuroscience to discover good news on how we can develop new neural connections at any age and use our mind to change our brain.
In this session, Maria will share techniques from cognitive behaviour therapy along with insights from the world of positive psychology and neuroscience.
The scientific evidence of potential to change how we think give us all hope for the future.
The session will be fun and as interactive as possible given the constraints of Zoom.
