Description

The cheeky breakfast

His friend once described David Bramwell as 'a one-man cottage industry'.

David’s certainly a man who likes variety. Our November speaker has made programmes for BBC radio, performed one man-shows, produced podcasts, written books and newspaper features, and released six albums with the band Oddfellow's Casino.

If you haven’t heard of them, you will have heard of the Cheeky Guides, which David launched with some mates in 1999. Undeterred by a complete lack of knowledge, experience or skills in this field, the gang managed to turn it into a successful publishing company. They even rejected a £340,000 publishing deal to keep their independence. David owns up to making mistakes along the way, but hasn’t yet said if this was one of them.

So come to our November breakfast to find out how he has managed to keep so many plates spinning, and what is next on his agenda.
