About this event

Business • Startups

Join your local Chamber engagement managers, other colleagues and local members at this relaxed mix and mingle networking event. We're joining Feeding Families for coffees and pastries as they launch their Christmas campaign and hear from guest speaker, North East Mayor, Kim McGuinness. Wrap up warm as we're in the warehouse.

You will meet with other businesses within your area and have the chance to catch up with your relationship manager to find out more about the benefits of membership and how your business can take advantage of belonging to the Chamber network.

The North East faces a hidden crisis, with 31% of children living in poverty. This Christmas, the Feeding Families appeal will deliver thousands of festive boxes to families in crisis, without homes, and those who are isolated or struggling. For many families, this means having to make impossible choices between food, rent, or heating. Every box we deliver offers more than just food; it brings dignity, care, and hope. As one mum told us last Christmas, "It became hope for my despair". The boxes are a reminder that they are not alone.

To help support Feeding Families this Christmas, we encourage you to bring along food items from the list below to the event:

  • Cereal (max 375g)*
  • Oil (1 litre)
  • Pasta (max 500g)*
  • Tinned Tuna
