Introducing this month's sponsor...
Alice Young, Regional Manager at Bristol charity Envision will be introducing The Community Apprentice – The Auditions.
‘Have you ever caught yourself shouting at the telly during The Apprentice? Seen an awful pitch on Dragon’s Den and thought ‘I could do better than that!’ Can you see yourself as the next Duncan Bannatyne or Lord Sugar’s Karen or Nick? Based on the popular TV show, The Community Apprentice is an interschool competition for 16 year olds. You’ll hear how Bristol’s Community Apprentice works with local schools and how business leaders across our city are helping to develop the next generation of Bristol talent. Our version of Lord Sugar, Mayor George Furguson will be hosting The Auditions this June –challenging the business community to get involved in his search for the next 100 ‘Karen & Nicks’ – his right hand business advisors to support his quest to find the next Bristol Community Apprentice.
