About this event

Join us for a meaningful morning at one of Cardiff’s most creative spaces Chapter Arts Centre in Canton for our next Chambers Connect Breakfast, exploring how we can embed wellbeing into the way we lead, live, and work.

Led by Dai Rees, Chambers Wales’ in-house leadership and wellbeing specialist, this session will offer practical insight into:

  1. Strengthening personal resilience and clarity in fast-moving environments
  2. Creating workplace cultures that support wellbeing and performance
  3. Why people-first leadership is essential for long-term success

Dai brings over two decades of experience in transformational coaching across education, elite sport, and business, blending lived experience with trusted methods to help individuals and teams thrive.

Why Now?

With workplace sickness absence rates in Wales still above pre-pandemic levels and over 148 million working days lost across the UK last year due to ill health this is a timely opportunity to explore what practical, sustainable wellbeing looks like in real business environments. As employers grapple with rising stress, burnout, and long-term health issues, it's never been more important to move beyond token gestures and embed wellbeing into everyday culture

Expect to leave with fresh tools, new perspectives, and renewed focus.

About the Venue

We’re proud to be hosting this event at Chapter Arts Centre, a cultural and community landmark in Canton for over 50 years.

As a registered charity, Chapter reinvests all profits from its café, cinema, and venue hire into local creative projects, inclusive education programmes, and grassroots arts. Supporting Chapter means supporting the creative heartbeat of Cardiff.

Attendees will also be offered a short behind-the-scenes tour of the centre a chance to reconnect with a venue many of us know and love, and to explore how we as businesses and individuals can play a bigger part in sustaining vibrant community spaces like this.

What’s Included?

  1. A light breakfast and time to connect with peers
  2. A guided session with Dai Rees on personal and organisational wellbeing
  3. A tour of Chapter Arts Centre

Who Should Attend?
