Founded in 1776, Louis Roederer remains one of the last family-owned Champagne houses, now led by the 7th generation, Frédéric Rouzaud. Louis Roederer may be one of the smallest Grandes Marques, but they are the largest growers of organic vineyards in the region, with 250 hectares in Grands and Premiers Crus villages, 115 of which are certified organic. Following permaculture and regenerative farming principles, they are self-sufficient for all vintage production and most multi-vintage production. Their commitment to quality and sustainability has earned them the title of World’s Most Admired Champagne Brand by Drinks International for six years running.
