Champanois - Champagne dinner

Vintwined invite you to our inaugural event "Champanois at The Clerkenwell Kitchen". This will be an evening of fantastic grower champagnes and fine food prepared by our professional chef, James Welch. We look forward to showcasing the complexity, diversity and sheer brilliance of this most prestigious of wines. We have carefully selected a flight of champagnes to demonstrate this and have crafted dishes that will accentuate the characteristics of the wines.
The ticket price includes a Champagne reception with canapes followed by three champagnes with matched dishes. There will also be bar open until 11:30 where you can purchase any of the champagnes from the dinner plus a few additional beverages from the area.

Champagne reception: Gournel Lassalle, Prestige Brut with Comte and brioche rarebit fingers
First course: Ployes-Jacquemart Extra Brut Vintage 2005 with Salmon tart fine, chestnut mushrooms, watercress and crème fraiche
Second course: Louis Casters Cuvee Superiore Brut with Duck breast, potato terrine, turnips, hispi cabbage and elderberry jus
Dessert: Pierre Morlet, Ratafia with Cherry Bakewell tart, almond crumble and vanilla cream
