About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Other

Join us for a night time bat walk at Woodberry Wetlands, an important habitat for bats in London.

We'll be using electronic detectors to listen for the bats' ultrasonic calls and to learn about how these fascinating mammals travel through the wetlands.Timings for two 1-hour walks:6pm - 7pm: Open to Woodberry Down residents7pm - 8pm: Open to all

The event is aimed at children of all ages and their parents and carers. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Part of the walk is on a narrow, uneven woodchip path that may not be accessible for everyone. If you have access needs please let us know as we may be able to alter the walk to accommodate everyone.

Booking is required. Please book a ticket per individual attending. Please let us know if you can no longer attend, so we can offer your tickets to another family.

This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.

This is a Championing Nature event. Championing Nature is a multi-year programme delivered by London Wildlife Trust and made possible by Wimbledon and Emirates.
