We are living in a moment marked by rising authoritarianism and fascism, alongside escalating climate collapse, war, and genocide. The hard-won gains of feminist movements and human rights defenders are under threat, and the very systems and structures that have upheld our sector are at risk of collapse. We are at a turning point, and together, we can challenge these oppressive power dynamics and define a shared vision for change.
That’s why Women Deliver and partners are co-creating a Feminist Playbook. Launching at the Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026) in April 2026, it will outline a roadmap toward gender equality rooted in hope, care, and solidarity. Through global consultations, workshops, plenaries, and strategy sessions, we’ll work together to shape the actions needed to create a more just and equitable world.
Your voice, ideas, and commitments are essential. We’re launching this process during the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80) — creating space for defiant joy and offering a counter-moment to official UNGA80 spaces.
We’re excited to invite you to our event to kick off the journey to build this collective declaration — a moment to connect, celebrate, and come together to shape the next steps for this Playbook.
