Description

Do you know what to say if someone tells you about a harmful relationship?

Women's Aid Federation of England want to ensure that the first time a woman speaks out about abuse that she is heard, believed or guided towards local specialist support.

As we all talk more about domestic abuse our communities will become spaces where those expereincing abuse feel able to speak out. This free two-day training course will equip you to become a Community Ambassador so that you too can help to create a safe space in which people can speak freely about their experiences without fear of judgement or shame and find out about local support services.

Domestic abuse is a major social issue that affects 1.3 million women each year [1]. Seeking help isn’t easy. Fear and misunderstanding often prevents people from knowing what to do, how to talk about abuse or where to direct women to get help.

Follow this link to sign up today https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/askmeEOIBLF and start your journey to becoming a Change that Lasts Community Ambassador!

PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE TRAINING COURSE UNTIL THE SURVEY MONKEY IS COMPLETED AND THIS MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL. You will then receive email confirmation if you have been allocated a space.
