About this event
We held this session in September 2020 when COVID was changing our lives - this is a refresher for those that came before or a great session for those that missed it the first time.
The Session
Are you looking for ideas to spark different ways to think, plan and make decisions (especially given the COVID crisis they are facing), engage and include everybody in a positive way, prevent boring and frustrating meetings and mind-numbing PowerPoint presentations.?
Join us for a learning adventure in a 60 minute session for those who want to make their next meeting or training session focussed, involving and energising.
You will:
• Experience a selection of practical methods that ensure that everyone engages and contributes their best thinking.
• Leave with tips and techniques to apply these methods in their next online (or face2face) meeting.
This is what some of managers said about the session that they took part in:
"I liked that we got to test out the liberating structures as a group. It helped me learn about them and the situations I could use them."
“Loved the inclusiveness and energy…will definitely use 1-2-4-all in my meeting this afternoon.”
“How refreshing and thought-provoking…I was focussed the WHOLE time…and it was fun!"
The ideas and techniques that we practice include techniques from my Train the Trainer course and a selection of “Liberating Structures” - you can take a look at them here www.liberatingstructures.com
A Note from the Speaker
I love learning and sharing this with others. I believe that for training to be effective, learning experiences need to be thought-provoking, interactive and fun. People say that they enjoy working with me because they leave with the knowledge and skills that can be used confidently, straight away in the workplace.
Projects that I am involved in support leaders and teams to stretch themselves and create a culture of learning and engagement in which they and their organisations can thrive.
My career in learning and development enables me to work with many different types of organisations and different cultures. I work with leaders, teams, trainers, apprentices, trade union leaders, hospital consultants, customer service teams, managing directors and many more.
I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich, Honours Degree in Group Dynamics from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) South Africa, Assessor qualifications and a Certificate in Coaching.
I’m looking forward to being part of your next learning adventure.
