Join CIPD Mid & North Anglia branch via Zoom for our upcoming session with Tracy Yates, Immigration Law Consultant from Mills & Reeve.

About this event

Are you new to using the UK Immigation System as a people professional? Or do you already have an experience, but would like to learn more? This session is just for you!

This session will be hosted by Tracy Yates, Immigration Law Consultant, Mills & Reeve. Tracy has a wide experience of changing economic, political and legal environments.

Alongside exploring the new Immigration landscape, we will also be focusing on the following topics: 

  • Sponsor licence applications (and duties of a Sponsor)
  • The differences between Defined and Undefined CoS
  • Visa and LTR processes (differences for EU national without settled/pre-settled status)
  • Other options/routes outside sponsorship (and changes/new routes proposed)
  • Changes in documents check requirements/arrangements

Tracy is an employment lawyer with a business focused immigration specialism. She has a wide experience of changing economic, political, and legal environments. She provides support and advice to a wide variety of organisations including those in the health sector, in relation to recruitment of employees and removal of employees.

Please note:

  1. Webinar joining instructions will be sent to you 2 days before the event (with further reminders 2 hours prior to the session and 20mins prior to the session).
  2. The webinar will start at 18:00 and run for about 60 minutes.
  3. We will record the webinar and will share will people afterwards. We will be using the recording to upload it to CIPD channels.
  4. The chat function will be used for participants to engage with the webinar, rather than audio and video, so just be mindful of the login name you use and ensure you are happy for other people to see this.
  5. Professional photography and video production may be taking place at the event, and these images and videos may be used on future promotional materials for CIPD.
  6. By attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any CIPD promotional materials.
  7. For security reasons, it is requested that participants join the live session 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and with the same name as registered on Eventbrite as not doing so may cause a delay or non-admittance to the event.
