Event Details

Changing Cultures recognises the important role that cultural and heritage organisations in Wales play in providing life chances and opportunities for children and young people. 

This event will help museums, archives and libraries to find new ways of encouraging children and young people to engage with their culture and heritage.

Mae Newid Pethe yn cydnabod y rôl bwysig y mae sefydliadau diwylliannol a threftadaeth yng Nghymru yn ei chwarae wrth ddarparu cyfleoedd bywyd i blant a phobl ifanc. 

Bydd y ddigwyddiad hwn i helpu amgueddfeydd, archifau a llyfrgelloedd i ddod o hyd i ffyrdd newydd o annog plant a phobl ifanc i ymgysylltu â'u diwylliant a'u treftadaeth. 

Gellir canfod mwy o wybodaeth am Newid Pethe ar wefan Llywodraeth Cymru.

Aims and Objectives for the day

Delegates will have the opportunity to learn of new ways to engage participation, hear about successful case studies and participate in workshops.

Representatives from the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Action for Children, Kids in Museums and the George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling will offer insight into new ways of encouraging young people and their families.

Bydd y cynadleddwyr yn cael cyfle i ddysgu am ffyrdd newydd o ysgogi cyfranogiad, yn clywed am astudiaethau achos llwyddiannus ac yn cymryd rhan mewn gweithdai.

Bydd cynrychiolwyr o blith Comisiynydd Plant Cymru, Gweithredu dros Blant, Plant mewn Amgueddfeydd a Chanolfan Adrodd Storïau George Ewart Evans yn ystyriaeth ffyrdd newydd o annog pobl ifanc a'u teuluoedd.
