About this event

Join us at Brixton Jamm for a journey through the rich history of some of Brixton's lost pubs. From coaching inns and court houses to activist meeting places, music venues and more. Discover the stories behind the 275 year of the White Horse (now Brixton Jamm) and other local pubs, most now gone. Come along, grab a pint (other drinks avaialble from the bar) and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Brixton's past pub scene.

Doors open 6.30pm, for 7pm start.

This event is part of The Festival of Encounters organised by Van Gogh House. Between 13 September and 4 October, the Festival is bringing together talks and other encounters by artists, writers, activists, thinkers and other speakers in venues across Northern Brixton. Events will be spreading out into parks, cafes, bicycle repair shops, community organisations and more.
