Changing Services Together Herts County Council Local Workshop
Tue 2 May 2017, 09:30 – 13:30 BST
How does our community support people who are isolated? How do we build stronger communities? What will a day service look like in the future? How will we meet increasing needs?
North Herts CVS are supporting a Herts County Council initiative to redesign day services in Hertfordshire, by supporting a local community conversation
We would like to invite you to take part in this conversation by coming along to a 9.30 – 13.30 workshop on Tuesday 2nd May at the Hampson Park Community Centre, Stevenage. This event is relevant for any health policy/VCS leads, Stevenage Borough Council representatives and councillors, local day services, faith groups and other service providers in Stevenage that operate in our community.
The workshop will include:
- Feedback on the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) needs analysis (‘what is a good life in Hertfordshire?’)
- Review of what assets we already have in Stevenage (e.g. places, people and services)
- Agree actions for how these might be used differently in the future to meet needs cost-effectively
We will be providing refreshments and a light lunch.
If you will be joining us, please confirm via Eventbrite on the following link, by Friday 21st April:
