Changing the Culture of Dementia Care
Tue 29 November 2016, 09:30 – 15:30 GMT
At the Dementia Services Development Centre we translate research from around the world into practical advice and strategies, which we use to help organisations across health and social care to develop and improve their services for people who are living with dementia.
Gain some insight into how to:
• achieve evidence based best practice in dementia care
• enhance quality of life through good dementia design
• understand distressed behaviour as a means of communication and respond appropriately
• develop leadership that supports the workforce to deliver person-centred services
