Changing the world through AGM Activism: How can you get involved?
Thu 13 April 2017, 15:00 – 17:00 BST
Imagine yourself sipping tea and chatting to the CEO of Rolls Royce, McDonald's or HSBC. What would you say?
We want to get you to the annual meetings of the UK’s biggest corporations to hold the boards to account on their social and environmental practices! Are you up for it? Are you up for that cup of tea? Then come to our AGM training session on the 13th of April!
AGM Activism is a powerful way to hold big corporations to account, improve people’s lives and protect the environment. It has helped us secure important wins that changed lives all around the world, with AstraZeneca (a big pharmaceutical company) committing to using 100% renewable electricity, BP pulling out of its plans to drill for oil in the pristine waters of the Great Australian Bight and many more!
The three key issues for this AGM season are climate change, good work, and sustainable food.
Interested in learning more about it? Then come to our AGM training session on the 13th of April! More details below:
When? 13th of April 2017, from 3 to 5pm.
Where? Esmee Fairbairn offices, Kings Place, 90 York Way, N1 9AG.
Why? Because you have the power to make a change and convince Britain's biggest companies to become more sustainable - why waste it?
