Charcoal Workshop with Akintomide Aluko
Overview
Join SONDER artist Akíntòmídé Aluko for a hands-on charcoal drawing workshop. This session is designed to deepen audience engagement and close the exhibition with an interactive and reflective experience. Participants will explore quick studies, mark-making exercises, and observational sketches.

About the Facilitator:
Akíntòmídé Aluko (b.1988) is a visual artist with a background in film and photography, whose work examines identity, memory, and the human experience. He is an arts and filmmaking alumnus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and a member of Universal Studios of Art and the Guild of Professional Nigerian Artists. He has participated in numerous exhibitions across Nigeria.
This workshop is free, but registration is compulsory. Participants must bring their own drawing materials (charcoal and sketchpad). Spaces are limited, so secure your spot right away!
In the meantime, the exhibition remains open to visitors on the following days and times: Tuesday–Friday: 2–6 PM. At Lianna Gallery, 18 Cooper Road, Ikoyi.

About the SONDER Exhibition:
"Sonder: Between Presence and Perception" has been open since 22 November and will close on 6 December. The exhibition explores the layers through which we experience and interpret one another. It invites viewers to consider unseen narratives, inner worlds, and shifting perceptions that shape human presence.
The exhibition features works by Akíntòmídé Aluko, Funke Oladimeji, Ozangeobuoma Prince Orlu, and Tony Jagas, and is curated by David Oluwatoyin.
