Calling all daredevils, those who are up for a challenge and have a head for heights!

Climb the 278 steps to the top of the bridge before stepping out over the edge of the boom and abseiling "free-fall" 60m to the ground below.

A photographer will be present to capture your bravery as a momentum of the day!

The entry fee is to cover event costs and is non-refundable.

Key Information

• The minimum age of participation is 14yrs . Those under 18yrs will require consent and attendance at the event from a parent or guardian.
• The maximum individual weight for participation is 21stone. However, if you have concerns over whether the harness will fit please get in touch
• The event will take place on the East side of the bridge. The address is Stephenson Street, NP19 0RB. Roadside parking is available and we encourage you to bring supporters with you.
• You will be allocated a time for your abseil during the week of the event. If the time allocated is not convenient please let us know as soon as possible via email transporter.bridge@newport.gov.uk
• You will be required to complete a medical form which will be emailed to you prior to the event.
