Emily will kick off the evening, introducing the charities and the prizes – both for the raffle and the auction.

Musical Performance by May Myat Noe

Burmese Activist and Model May Myat Noe will sing a Burmese song, sharing her beautiful culture with us. We are raising funds for Better Burma amongst 3 other charities tonight.

Poetry Reading by Mukahang Limbu

Award-winning poet and writer Mukahang Limbu will do a few readings for us from his poetry collections. He is also auctioning off a private writing workshop with him.

We got incredible prizes up for grabs including a £50 voucher to Mildred's, a Jo Malone candle (full size!), a luxury hamper, and of course a 1:1 public speaking coaching sesh with yours truly :)

You’ll have the chance to auction off your own items and services or bid on others’ – from private AI lessons to personalised poems and experiences with GB Olympians, and more!

We’ll also have amazing raffle prizes, performances, and wonderful people.

I'm biased but my community is amazing! I'm a 25-y/o self-employed public speaking coach with a degree from Oxford University, and I have friends from all over – be it consulting, tech, the arts, modeling, and more! (The best place to make friends and meet new people).

All proceeds will go to life-changing charities and initiatives: Alzheimer's Research, Better Burma, Cancer Research, and the David Nott Foundation (training frontline doctors).

Is there a dress code?

I'd love for everyone to come dressed up (think formal / black tie) – now is the time to wear that amazing outfit you haven't had a chance to wear yet! Ultimately wear what makes you feel confident x

Are food and drinks included?

We have a generous sponsor: Ritesh from MRE Digital who is kindly putting some money behind the bar – first come, first served, so get there early if you want a free drink! TBD on food so pls eat beforehand if you're not yourself when you're hungry! x

How can I donate or auction something off?

Can I get a refund?

As this is a charity event, all ticket sales are final. Your money has gone to a good cause and you’re welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else!

What if I can't afford to bid in the auction?

Please don't worry – I'm still so grateful you want to come. It's about more than just money- it's also raising awareness and building community. Come along , make new friends, and learn something new. That said, we have prizes starting at £15 and you can buy raffle tickets for £5 too!
