Charity Chit Chat Scotland is a free and informal networking opportunity for anyone involved with a charity, social enterprise or community group. Hosted by a different charity each time, it runs on a quarterly basis and includes short presentations on subjects of interest to those present including funding, social media skills, service design, team building and much more. There is always time to network with others working in the same sector and opportunities for cooperative working. Charity Chit Chat attendees also get opportunities to present to schools and organisations for additional funding through the organisers Along Came Kirsty.
Our hosts for the 8th of December session will be The Circle Scotland on Staffa Place, Dundee.
Nicola Donnelly - Facilities & Services Development Manager at The Circle
Beth Curzon - Good Governance Award Development Officer at Dundee Voluntary Action
Kevin Anderson - Storytelling Coach, writer and Communications Consultant
SCVO’s One Digital Project team will join us for some round table discussions. The One Digital project focusses on basic digital skills sharing for Scottish third sector organisations and the people they support. Check out our their website http://digital.scvo.org.uk/ or #OneDigital on Twitter to see what the project has been getting up to.
Kirsty Thomson of ACK will also be there to update you with funding opportunities.
Finally, there will be time to network and attendees will get the chance to have some festive food for lunch!

Nicola Donnelly - Nicola Donnelly is Facilities & Services Development Manager at The Circle. Nicola has worked in higher education, ran her own business and joined the Third Sector this year. You can generally find her walking and talking to visitors and tenants in the corridors of The Circle or hiding behind her MacBook, plotting.
Beth Curzon - "I am the coordinator of the Good Governance Award at Dundee Voluntary Action. The award recognises good governance in the Third Sector, supporting organisations to achieve a recognised quality mark."
Kevin Anderson - “I’m a Storytelling Coach, writer and Communications Consultant. My business is The Story Edge and I’m on a mission to help people unlock their inner storyteller. Not because stories are lovely or because stories are fun - but because stories are the most powerful way to make your messages memorable. Stories help you connect, engage and, if you want - to sell. Stories Stick. My most important job is as a husband and dad to three boys. I live in the Scotland, in a village between the cities of Dundee & Perth.”
