Description

The award-winning Japanese pianist Waka Hasegawa enjoys a busy and varied career as soloist, duo pianist, teacher and Festival Director. Waka is based in London and has given recitals in various venues including Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room on the South Bank, St John's Smith Square, Fairfield Halls and many more. Her solo album, 'Undiscovered Piano Works by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor' from Naxos has attracted worldwide interest and the album has been featured in the “New Release Show with David Mellor” on Classic FM Radio as an album of the week in addition to being played on various radio stations worldwide. Waka was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in 2008.

APP provides information and peer support to help women and families affected by PP.
