CHARITY FORUM

21st November 2019
Les Cotils Christian Centre, St. Peter Port, Guernsey.

Our next Charity Forum is Thursday, 21 November starting 7:30pm. As usual, we have chosen topics that we know will be interesting and useful to local organisations.

TOPICS

1. AGC Update - Malcolm Woodhams
The AGC has produced its Strategy and Priorities to cover the next 15 months. This sets out our vision for the AGC's primary focus and activities.

2. New charity regulations - what you need to do now - Peter Rose
As we have previously briefed, there will be new regulations for Guernsey charities and non-profit organisations. These will require the governing bodies of all charities and NPO's to ensure that they meet higher standards. All organisations should review their procedures and governing documents, and plan for any changes that may be required.

3. The new Social Investment Fund - Jurat Stephen Jones

The new Social Investment Fund (formerly, Social Investment Commission) has formed, and is here to help local organisations of all sizes. Learn what the SIF intends to do to assist our local community, by significantly enhancing the funding available to local charities and good causes.
