About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Other

We are ending our Pick Your Own season with a charity fundraiser for Cure Parkinsons.

Come and enjoy a relaxing moring surrounded by flowers and our friendly farm animals. Guests will be able to:

  • Pick your own flowers stright from the field
  • Enjoy cake with a cup of tea or coffee
  • Explore our farm and take in the beauty of our space

All of this is offered in return for a donation, with every penny going towards the fight against Parkinsons.

Parking and Arrival:

Please use the postcode GU8 4DD. Follow the directions until you reach ‘The Hydon’s’; then take an immediate right. Continue along the single track until the end (you’ll see Hares Grove in front of you). Turn right through the farm gates, follow the path to the end, and you’ll have arrived! For additional guidance, feel free to check out this helpful YouTube video (https://youtu.be/ckGexcbC5dc).

What to Bring:

We supply tools for picking flowers, gloves are useful but not essential.

Don’t forget to bring something watertight to carry your beautiful flowers home in.

Check-In and Orientation:

Once you arrive at the barn, check-in with one of our team members

Please bring something to take your flowers home in — or you can purchase a bucket from us on the day for £2

You’ll receive a short talk about what we have and how to pick before heading out to pick your flowers.

Our friendly volunteers will be available to answer any questions and assist you during your visit.

Enjoy and Stay Safe:

Please remember, this is a working farm, and you are visiting at your own risk

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times

The ground is uneven in places and has irrigation pipes, so please take care while walking. Customers are advised to wear appropriate footwear.

Customers are reminded that snips provided are sharp and should be carried with care when moving around the field.

Be tick-aware, as deer frequently visit the fields. It’s a good idea to check yourself for ticks after your visit.

Please do not feed the animals and be careful of your hair/clothes/etc especially around the goats! 😊

WC is available on site.

If the weather is deemed too wet to open then we will try to reschedule the event but this won't be guarenteed.

Booking a ticket to the event is deemed as acceptance of the above Safety and Picking

terms.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you have a fantastic experience at our flower farm.
