Charity Tractor Rides & Cake Sale at Slade Farm (tickets by Donation)

Join us for fun on the farm as we open the gates for our annual Charity Tractor Rides and Cake Sale.

Climb aboard our tractor trailer for a special journey across the beautiful fields of Slade Farm Organics, winding down through the farm to spot animals and wildlife along the way. We'll head to the farms end just above Southerndown beach – a treat not to be missed.

After the ride, you can enjoy a slice (or two!) at our farmyard cake sale put on by our partners at SPLICE Child and Family Project, with homemade bakes on offer to raise funds for their service. You’ll also have the chance to wander through our seasonal veg patch, where we grow the fresh produce that fills our local veg bags.

Tickets for the tractor rides are by donation ( we recommend £2 for children and £5 for adults but please give what you can) and are purchased via eventbrite with all proceeds going to SPLICE Child and Family Project.

What's Included

  • Scenic Tractor Ride Round the Farm (45 mins-1hr)
  • Watch out for birds, wildlife and livestock from the comfort of our accessible trailer
  • Views down to Dunraven Bay
  • Charity Cake sale on the yard
  • Chance for a wander round our veg patch

Tractor and trailer ride tickets tend to sell out, you can visit for tea and cake plus a walk round the veg patch without booking. Any donations on the day welcome. We advise arriving 15 minutes before your tractor ride to allow us to book you in and get you set up.

Frequently asked questions

What to wear?

We do have a foot dip before you come on the yard, wear welly boots or stout shoes (no flip flops of open sandals). Prepare for the weather on the day, coats and hats if its wet and blowy, sun hats, sunblock and T-shirts if it is hot.

Can I bring my dog?

We can't have dogs on the farm during the event as there is a risk that some of our animals will be worried by their presence.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, this is good event for children of all ages. However we expect children to be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
