Description

This one day free event will be an informative look into the nature of the condition, current research including the potential causes of Charles Bonnet Syndrome and it’s over activity in the brain as well as what the future might hold. It will include talks from specialists and will show some of the current work to support, manage and treat those with the condition as well as hearing from those who have the condition themselves.

Speakers will include:

Judith Potts: Founder of Esme’s Umbrella, the only Awareness Campaign for Charles Bonnet Syndrome

Dr Dominic Ffytche: Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London and Consultant at the Maudsley Hospital

Kat Da Silva Morgan: Researcher at Newcastle University with a background in Psychology and Neuroscience

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
