Business savvy employers are being encouraged to attend a FREE Net-walk this Autumn. The walk follows on from 2 successful Net-walks earlier in the year supporting National Walk to Work Week.
Participants will spend the morning walking through the tranquil surroundings of Bradgate Country Park, whilst meeting new contacts and developing business relationships. As an added bonus you'll also learn about the history of the park from Bradgate Parks very own Peter Tyldesdly.
The walk concludes back in the Cafe which sits between the car park and the road over the footbridge. Here you will have the opportunity to continue informal networking. Your first drink is FREE providing you have paid to park (£2.50)
Please arrive at 8:00am ready for an 8:30am start meeting in the car park at the Newtown Linford entrance. The walk will last for approximately 1 hour where you'll expect to cover approximately 3 miles.
In the event of really bad weather the event will remain inside, however, a decision to proceed with the walk will be made on the day.
The sessions are being delivered by Skylark Activities in partnership with The Fit for Work Team, and the Fit 4 Business Challenge being delivered by Charnwood Borough Council and North West Leicestershire District Council as a part of the ‘Choose How You Move – Smarter Travel for Business Project’.
