Who is the Workshop for?

Anyone located in or with interests in West Africa that is involved in Hydrography for Ports, Harbours, Oil and Gas, Inland Waterways, Defence/Navy , Research and Development or  Education.

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

The Workshop is being funded by OceanWise Limited and Brewzone Africa. We have kept costs to the attendee limited but are charging a small amount which will help cover food and refreshments during the event and an evening meal on the night of the 19th Feb.

Question 5

Is this a one-off event?

Accepted Answer

This is the first event of its kind in Africa but will not be a one-off. OceanWise and Brewzone hope to run this event bi-annually and will seek to host the event in different countries each year.

What is included in the fee?

The registration fee includes: 2 day workshop, refreshments and lunches during the workshop, 1 x evening meal on the evening of the 19th, completion certificate, delegate bag, pen and pad, 1 x welcome drink on the evening on the 18th. *It does not include your travel or accommodation*

Is there a discounted room rate available?

Yes the Four Points by Sheraton have agreed a discounted room rate for participants of the Workshop. Please use this link or contact to hotel directly quoting the name of the Workshop.

Can I pay in Nigerian Naira?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have a local agent who can process your booking and will take Nigerian Naira. Please contact Nana Brew (of Brewzone Africa) on nana@brewzoneafrica.org OR +233 553134570  and he will register your ticket and put you in touch with the agent.

Are there student tickets available?

Yes we have a few student places up for grabs. These need to be discussed and agreed with Nana Brew of Brewzone before booking is made please. Please contact Nana: nana@brewzoneafrica.org OR +233 553134570 to agree your place and once agreed please select "Student" ticket at checkout.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of the Workshop

Yes, each participant will receive a signed certificate at the end of the Workshop to certify their involvement in the event.

Can I attend virtually?

Accepted Answer

No we are unable to support virtual attendance. Due to the nature of the event and the hands on training, this is an in-person event only.
