Welcome to Chatterbooks! Our new reading group for 9-12 year olds!
Come and explore Alcester Library, chat about your reading with friends, and do a small craft activity. Using The Reading Agency model, Chatterbooks reading clubs help children build a lifelong reading habit. Because everything changes when we read.
Chatterbooks meets on the fourth Friday of the month, 3:45-4:45pm at Alcester Library. It is free to join, just drop in, no need to book.
Stay and join our Lego club afterwards!
Each month, we will set a theme for the following meeting, so you read whatever you'd like within that theme. Next month's theme is your favourite non-fiction book (or bring whatever you've been reading that excites you!).
Parents and carers are encouraged to use the library too whilst you're here!
Alcester Library is committed to including everyone. We welcome group members with additional needs so please let us know how we can best support you. There are sensory toys and ear defenders available to borrow in the library, and you can find our social story and floor plan below.
