Book chat, crafts and fun for 8-12 year olds!
About this event:
Talk about the books you are reading, have read or would like to read. Do lots of fun games and crafts. Meet new people and learn new skills.
These book groups are part of the Chatterbooks reading group network, the largest network of children’s reading groups in the UK. Chatterbooks encourages children to take pleasure in reading, whatever their reading level. To find out more, please visit http://readingagency.org.uk/chatterbooks/.
You are warmly invited to choose some books before you leave. We are so happy to welcome you into our Library and we hope you will have lots of fun with us.
Ticketing – please book a place for each participating child. All children to be accompanied by an adult.
Please cancel your place if you cannot attend for any reason to make the space available for others.
Covid security – while we are relaxing our capacities and restrictions in line with government guidelines, please help us keep everyone safe and comfortable by:
Choosing to wear a face covering if you can.
Not visiting the library if anyone in your group has symptoms of Covid.
Respecting others if they choose to maintain social distancing.
The room will be well ventilated so please come dressed appropriately for the weather.
