Chatty Cafe
Event Information
About this Event
All welcome to join us at Chatty Cafe.
Come along for a natter, time to connect over a cuppa. Warm welcome, great company, helping us to connect.
Running through the amazing power of volunteers, organised by the More in Common Llantwit Major group.
We are inspired by the humanitarian work of the late MP, Jo Cox, who believed 'we have far more in common than that which divides us' and sought to help people connect. Our Chatty Cafe is a local, human, direct response to the Jo Cox Commission on Loneliness.
Now entering its second year, Chatty Cafe is to run at CF61 monthly for a year from December 2020 thanks to the funding of Comic Relief in response to the Covid19 pandemic.
Before needing to find a new home due to the impact of Covid19, we ran for our first year at Llantwit Major Library and Bethel Hall purely thanks to donations and goodwill within our community.
Important: Before booking, please read our Covid19 Safety Etiquette \below) to help us all keep safe. Please do not attend if
a) you [or anyone in your household] has any Covid-19 symptoms unless you have had a negative test result since the onset
b) you should be self-isolating for any reason.
