CHD regional event - Family skills training day - May 2025

Chuf and the Congenital Heart Disease Network are running a training event for patients and families across the North East.

Meet other families in a safe social space

We will provide an activity for those who do not wish to take part in the skills training

Drop into a session, book in advance. Stay a while for a cuppa and a chat, or drop in for your session when it works for you

**Free parking**

First aid sessions will run for 45 minutes and we can host 2 families (8 people) at a time.

It is essential to book your session, please select one ticket per family when booking.

We have the following times available;

Session 1 - 10 -11am

Session 2 - 11 -12pm

Session 3 - 12:30-1:30pm

Session 4 - 1:30-2:30pm

Session 5 - 2:30-3:30pm

You will be able to select your time slot when you register for the event, select one ticket per family.

The sessions are carried out by qualified first aid trainers from First Aid North East

First aid sessions include:

• Primary observations
• Resuscitation
• Automated External Defibrillator
• Recovery Position
