Dust off your Bum Shorts and get out the Tinsel...

It's that time of year again! Hosted by Ben's Bowel Movements the 5km Cheeky Santa Dash is in aid of Beating Bowel Cancer, Mummy's Star and the Rosemere Cancer Foundation!

The dash will start at 11:30 am

After a crazy year, finding out his cancer had progressed, completing 24 marathons over 24 months, and then major liver surgery, Ben and his family are determined to put on another fundraiser in aid of the charities that have supported and inspired him.

After spending 7 weeks in hospital in the summer, Ben is still regaining his strength. His friends and supporters have carried on running in his name and he will be jog/walking the 5k along with everyone else!

Please note... If you already have a pair of Bum Shorts please dig them out and re-use them... they are becoming limited edition!! We will be laoning Bum Shorts on a first come first serve basis on the day! Other attire such as christmas jumpers, santa suits, baubles and sparkly bits are all welcome!

The registration fee is to cover the costs of the event and we strongly urge participants to gain further sponsorship/ donations towards this worthy cause. Any profits made will be donated to the Beating Bowel Cancer, Rosemere and Mummy's Star. There will be collection boxes available on the day.

Ben's Bowel Movements

Ben is a 37 year old terminal Bowel Cancer patient who in September 2014 completed his 6 marathons in 6 months challenge. He has since run 18 marathons (and ultra marathons!), and in September 2015 he completed The National 3 Peaks Cycle and Tough Mudder Challenge. He continues to write his blog and encourage everyone he meets to excercise!

He has raised over £40,000 for cancer charities Beating Bowel Cancer, Rosemere Cancer Foundation, MacMillan, Mummy's Star and Clic Sargent.

We hope to encourage people of all ages and abilities to get active.
