📅 September 16th | Afternoon Social – performance from Sammy Dean
Join us on Tuesday 16th September, 2–4pm at the Blackstones Sports & Social Club for a relaxing afternoon with tea, music, conversation and lovely company.
This month we welcome Sammy Dean, ex-Rutland Big Band singer and frontman of rockabilly band El Camino. With a voice made for the golden era, he’ll bring the timeless hits of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Elvis, Buddy Holly and more — performing, chatting and getting everyone involved.
It’s free and everyone’s welcome – come along for a cosy cuppa and some cheerful community time!

As part of the Art Pop-Up Cheer Club's free programme, this event is all about connecting with others and enjoying the day together.
These sessions are FREE to join but you must book a place. Over 18s only.
We are a Not-For-Profit Organisation and we often rely of the goodwill of our volunteers and befrienders as part of this project. What is the Cheer Club?
The Cheer Club is a group made up of various local communities who enjoy a programme of creative events to connect the groups throughout the year, provide opportunities to give a little back and get a little too.
Over the next year, The Cheer Club will be making and exchanging beautiful gifts, enjoying social events together, watching performances from artists, and sharing a little bit of love and laughter!
