Cheeseburn Introduction Days 19 & 20 September

Come and find out more about Cheeseburn near Stamfordham and our plans to create a centre for sculpture in the North East. 


View plans for the development of an artist project space within the 18th century stables and visit the historic chapel, which will be used in the future for film screenings, artist talks, lectures and workshops.

 

Take a tour of the grounds and see work by Joseph Hillier, Andrew Burton, William Peers, David Mach, Stephen Newby, Heidi Dent, Colin Rose, Daniel Clahane and Sarah Smith.

 

Please register by clicking the register button above and drop in on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September between 11am and 4pm. 


Refreshments will be available.

Cheeseburn Sculpture aims to support North East creative industries through art and design exhibitions, events, commissions and mentoring.

 

We are establishing a sculpture park, exhibitions and events venue within the historic architecture and gardens of Cheeseburn Grange and aim to attract visitors and create opportunities for our regions emerging artists and designers.
