Starting with canapes and fizz overlooking the stunning Camel Estuary this will be a day to remember. The 5 course set menu of locally sourced ingredients, features the ingenuity and inventiveness of North Cornwall's culinary talent. The chefs are brothers Tom and Dan Hine, husband and wife Josh and Georgie Sutcliffe and Ross Geach. The meal will be accompanied by acoustic music from Josh Curnow, followed by an auction and a raffle then a DJ set for dancing the night away! The ticket includes wine with the meal and there will be a hog roast available later in the evening.
Brainwave helps children with disabilities reach greater independence by improving mobility, communication skills and learning potential. And the reason this charity is so dear to our hearts is because Tom and Dan's gorgeous nephew Jasper has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Since Jasper's diagnosis he has received unbelievable help through sessions at Brainwave in Bridgwater, Somerset. Jasper is a symbol of pure grit and determination, and he always has a gorgeous smile on his face! Tom has recently completed the epic challenge of running from John O'Groats to Land's End, raising more than £25,000! The success of this has inspired Tom to raise as much money and awareness for Brainwave as possible. Firstly by organising this one-off party and then next year he will be running The Transcontinental from Los Angeles toNew York - the complete length of Route 66!!! All proceeds from the party will go towards Brainwave and sponsor the run to raise even more money for them. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a wonderful day while contributing to a worthy cause.
