Event description
Chekhov, comedy and feminist performance with Sian Clarke

About this Event

Led by Sian Clarke (The Chekhov Collective UK), the focus of this workshop will be anger, outrage and pure hysteria. We will be using elements of Chekhov technique to create characters, personas and atmospheres to extrapolate what the true purpose of fair argument and rationality is; and who exactly it benefits. We will be blending the personal with the political, the emotional with the factual and considering the benefits of comedy in provocative performance.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who has ever been suspicious of the patriarchy.

No prior experience necessary.
