The ChemEng Topics Workshop, scheduled for September 4–5, 2025, will take place at the University of Edinburgh.
This interactive two-day event will bring together researchers and professionals to discuss recent innovations and future directions in chemical engineering for sustainable energy and environmental protection. The programme features three focused sessions on CO₂ hydrogenation and catalysis, carbon capture and separation technologies, and materials for environmental and energy applications.
With contributions from leading experts across Europe and beyond, the workshop offers a platform for in-depth technical exchange on catalytic systems, electrochemical conversion, direct air capture, and advanced materials design. Participants will have the opportunity to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and examine how emerging technologies can contribute to decarbonisation and circular chemical processes.
ChemEng Topics aims to stimulate cross-sector dialogue and inspire progress toward a climate-resilient and resource-efficient future.
