About this event

Our exciting and dynamic ‘New Perspectives: Mini Lecture Series’ is designed to inspire young people aged 14 to 16 to engage with academic experts and explore their favourite subjects in new ways outside the classroom. The lectures will also serve to give young people a flavour of the A Level programme.All lectures will take place online, via Microsoft Teams from 17:00. There will be a short presentation of 20 minutes, followed by a Question and Answer session.

This evening's talk is being led by Mr Clarke, Teacher of Chemistry at KPS.

Join Oxford graduate Mr Simon Clarke as he shares his expertise and explores how chemistry can be used to break down some common myths in alternative medicine. This talk will give you insight into the fascinating ways in which chemistry is used in our everyday lives – don't miss it!

A graduate of Oxford University, Mr Simon Clarke has been teaching Chemistry for over 15 years. Having previously taught at St Paul’s School, Mr Clarke has a proven track record of preparing students for top results in A-level Chemistry, as well for entry to Oxbridge and other leading UK universities.
